I have been teaching English 9 and 10 at Oakland Mills High School in Columbia, MD since 2003, save for 5 years I spent at home with my three little ones. I love working with students explore language and connect through sharing and reading stories. S.H.E has been such a gift to our classroom: we have learned valuable lessons from each Shero. It has given us the framework to explore how sharing our stories while honoring the stories of others is essential to human connection and dignity.
