Mike’s Bio:
This is my 21st year working at Oakland Mills High School. I spent the first 5+ years working in Alternative Education, where I assisted in the development and implementation of an individual education service plan for students who needed additional resources in a comprehensive school setting. For the past 15+ years I have served as the Career Research and Development teacher at Oakland Mills, where my main role is to facilitate student learning in career education. I also coordinate the Site-Based Work Experience program, which is a mentored work experience with a written, personalized work-based training plan for each student completing the Career Research and Development Academy. I am a proud graduate of Oakland Mills, as are my 5 siblings and 2 in-laws.
